ABOUT

Bloo Sky Projects Ltd was birthed out of the desire to support enterprise with operational innovation. Many organisations have chosen lean to redesign their infrastructure. This is not a bad thing, however has placed more load on less managers and expecting more from them. The reality is time and effort is required to run regular operations and very little time is now available to enable improvement programs. This is where enterprise is loosing focus as there is a chase on conversion and no focus on the fall out of wastage. I have over 20 years experience in working in Operational environments and have been subjected to challenges where you do need external help to reach the tipping point. The ability to create this shift requires the appropriate focus. My roles have been with blue chip companies and ranged from Production Management, Engineering Management, Operations Management, Management Consulting, Business Development, Contract Management, and Asset Management. In these capacities i have developed a good understanding of the challenges of operational functionality and how to benefit from value streams.

Michael has a good command of continuous improvement methodology, and has a unique approach developed from experience on how to improve process performance, create savings within service operations and improve operational performance. He has been involved with engineering and business projects at various levels with application of the full life cycle process. Projects have included from fit out, pharmaceutical installations, building projects and design and development initiatives. Companies he has experience working with are, Adcock Ingram, Johnson Controls, CBRE, Health Protection Agency, Wyeth, Morgan Stanley, BP, Eaton, Motorola, AstraZeneca, Cooper Vision and Boston Scientific.

He has proven management experience, working in a large team, developing business plans and achieving growth targets and profit objectives through operations, business and/or engineering projects. He is well suited to lead teams, develop business interests and review business operations. With a proven track record in various capacities, he is open to new business or contract opportunities and challenges where he can make a positive contribution.
